Produced on our rolling mills from high quality hot rolled coil steel supplied by both domestic and international sources.

 

Finished product is rolled on our Z-mill or one of our 4-High Reversing Mills where it is processed to our customers specified thickness tolerance and surface finish. The Thompson Companies' quality processes and genuine commitment to servicing

The Thompson Companies stock large inventories and offer Low Carbon, High Carbon, and Alloy Steels in virtually all grades in thicknesses from .008" in. to .250".  Restricted thickness tolerances are available on request.  In addition, we offer our Cold Rolled Strip Steel Slit to desired widths, Annealed to specified ductility, Skived or Edged to a variety of profiles, Cut to Length or Blanked to specific sheet sizes, and Oscillate wound for maximum length per delivered coil.

.02 Maximum Carbon, C-1006, 1008, 1010, 1018, and 1020, through C-1024 Modified grades of low carbon chemistries are available.	C-1035, 1050, 1051, 1055, 1060, 1064, 1065, 1070, 1074, and 1075,  through C-1095 Modified grades of high carbon chemistries are available. Modified grades may be subject to “heat lot” quantity minimums.	1012, 1015, 4130, 4140, 6150, D6A, and NS801 Special alloys for your application can be specified.
